This is a small selection of some of my older work.
I made a whole series of pieces based on gardens both as installation work and as collages. The piece to the right - Summer Gardens - was part of a year long exhibition in 2014 called The Nature of Fashion, at National Trust property Killerton House in Devon, in collaboration with Exeter College while I was teaching there.. Students and staff created work inspired by the house and grounds. Mine was called Paper Lace Gardens and used stitched paper hanging pieces to show the gardens throughout the year. Also shown below are some of the collages, also made of stitched paper. I exhibited these widely, including three times in solo exhibitions at RHS Gardens Rosemoor, Torrington
At one time I was obsessed with anemones: some of the work I produced in this phase is at the bottom of the page.
